Dawn was so incredible before and during our birthing experience. Her help started before we even went to the hospital, talking me through induction methods on the phone, answering questions about baby items, and even coaching me through my contractions at home. Once we got to the hospital, we didn't know what to expect (first time parents over here) - the nurses leave you for hours on end, so having Dawn there was hugely helpful to give us so much information that we weren't getting from the L&D team. I couldn't imagine our experience without her - our baby was struggling with the contractions throughout active labor (7+ hours) and I had to switch positions every 10 minutes to 1 hour depending on how our little girl was reacting or risk needing a c-section. Without Dawn, it wouldn't have been possible to make it through that time- she and my nurse were in lockstep with one another and adjusted me seamlessly to ensure that we could do everything possible to labor the way I planned. Even once our baby was delivered, Dawn continued to show up for us as I felt very overwhelmed by everything - she understood what I needed in the moment, and she provided the emotional support I needed to recenter myself. We now have a healthy, happy baby girl and are thankful that Dawn was a part of our birthing experience - highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks Dawn :)

I've known Dawn for 4 Years, and when it came time to welcome my baby girl, I could not imagine any other Doula by my side. She brought calm, encouragement and support through every moment of labor. She made me feel safe, strong and cared for. I'm forever grateful for the love she's shown me - not just as my Doula, but as a friend.
